Paige interviews Charlie Engle, an endurance runner, about his long distance run across the Sahara Desert, and his charity organization H2O Africa. H2O Africa was co-founded by Engle, Matt Damon, and others involved with Engle’s Documentary film, Running the Sahara. Engle also founded Mission Skincare, based on knowledge he acquired about caring for your skin in the desert. You can visit Charlie’s website at charlieengle.com.

"Talking with superstar actor and musician Billy Ray Cyrus was ah-mazing," Gretchen says. Not to mention the cred she got with her country music loving husband! Billy Ray joined Mommycast to tell families how they can support Feeding America, the nation’s leading domestic hunger-relief charity, by logging onto facebook at www.facebook.com/hellmanns and making a virtual sandwich. Easy peasy, right? For each sandwich you make, Hellman’s and Best Foods will donate seven lunches to Feeding America!
Billy Ray is on tour right now for his new album,
"Back to Tennessee," and fans can also enter to win tickets and a chance to meet him at one of his concerts by bidding at the online auction on
ebay.

While Paige and Gretchen were at the Pampers facility in Cincinnati, Ohio they learned about a wonderfully easy way to help eliminate maternal and neonatal tetanus. Jodi Allen, Vice President of North American Baby Care, explained the devastating claim this disease has had on the lives of newborns and mothers in developing countries. The good news is that Pampers has partnered with UNICEF in a campaign to eliminate neonatal tetanus through a program of low cost vaccines. UNICEF spokesperson Salma Hayek says, “In our own small way, this is an opportunity for moms like me here in the U.S. to help other mothers on a global level.” Watch the show to learn how easily you can help save a life!
