Maybe you've already seen Gretchen and Paige visit Pampers' Baby Care Facility to learn about all of the tests and research that go into making a Pampers diaper? Well, that’s not all it takes! The Mommies also visited Pampers' Discovery Center, where hundreds of moms and babies come each day to test Pampers products. As moms make suggestions to improve a product, researchers can immediately hand make a diaper prototype to implement the upgrade and see how it works. Pretty cool, huh! Come along with the Mommies to get a sneak peek at this amazing baby center.

While Paige and Gretchen were at the Pampers facility in Cincinnati, Ohio they learned about a wonderfully easy way to help eliminate maternal and neonatal tetanus. Jodi Allen, Vice President of North American Baby Care, explained the devastating claim this disease has had on the lives of newborns and mothers in developing countries. The good news is that Pampers has partnered with UNICEF in a campaign to eliminate neonatal tetanus through a program of low cost vaccines. UNICEF spokesperson Salma Hayek says, “In our own small way, this is an opportunity for moms like me here in the U.S. to help other mothers on a global level.” Watch the show to learn how easily you can help save a life!

Disposable diapers can be a mom’s best friend. We can’t live without them, but what are they really made of? How do they work? Gretchen and Paige visit the Pampers facility in Cincinnati, Ohio to take apart a diaper and see what’s inside. Proctor and Gamble Senior Researcher, Joann Hoover shows the mommies several of the tests that Pampers diapers go through, including trapping and de-watering a synthetic BM. Since the average baby uses 7,500 diapers a year, this is good information to have! You can also visit Pampers Village, for all of the Pampers products available, and for help choosing which product is just right for your baby.
